What is an Assessment?
In the context of coaching, an Assessment is a method of evaluation, gathering information, and analyzing results. Assessments in the context of coaching typically focus on the client and the client’s efficacy.
How Might An Assessment Help Me?
As a coach who takes a strengths-based philosophy within my practice, I see high potential in assessments. Some ways in which I can envision an Assessment helping clients includes:
- Catalyzing self-awareness
- Enhancing teamwork and collaboration
- Improving generative vocabulary
- Understanding and approaching conflict
- Encouraging reflection on strengths
- Building and maintaining stronger relationships
What Assessment Services Are Available?
As an optional addition my standard coaching services, I also offer help with assessments for an additional cost. This may include assistance with administration, collation of results, personalized coaching based upon the results, and more. While no assessment is perfect, I do believe that assessments can provide valuable insight into the who of ourselves.
Examples of assessments I look forward to working with you on include:
- 360 Assessment – I will work with you to design a custom survey to seek feedback from others in your workplace
- Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument – an assessment available for purchase to help you learn about your tendencies in approaching conflict resolution
