About Me

I have worked in higher education for ten years and am currently Acting Manager, Operations in the University of British Columbia’s Learning Technology Hub. In my spare time I coach and play soccer, follow chess tournaments, and enjoy long walks and hikes. My volunteering as a soccer coach is commonly confused with my services as a career, life, and organizational coach.

I am big believer in the efficacy of coaching and have sought regular help from multiple coaches. Receiving coaching has catalyzed me to grow in my career and continue to evolve my mindset to maximize enjoyment in both my UBC management role as well as my broader life.

Why Do I Coach?

The space created in a coaching conversation is a special place to be, especially when compatibility and trust between coach and client runs deep. By coaching others I hope to give back and help others excel in ways that I believe coaches have served me. Particularly, one of the biggest benefits of coaching I’ve experienced is the accelerated growth in self-awareness that can result.

My focus in my coaching approach is be non-judgmental and non-directive. I strive to enter coaching conversations with curiousity to help my client realize their own learnings and path forward.
